The HP 1000CX was a late-comer to the Palmtop family. It was produced at the request of vertical market developers who wanted a machine without the HP/Lotus software. This machine most closely resembles a miniaturized version of a 1982-84 PC/AT computer. The 1000CX was limited to 1 Mbyte of RAM.
