512K-to-1MB Upgrades Still Available in Canada

Before purchasing a 512K 95LX in March, I contacted HP Canada to ask whether the upgrade was still available and how long it would run. I was assured that they still had enough "upgrade kits" left that I would be safe to wait up to six months and still be able to upgrade. Maybe this is just the case in Canada.

[Call HP's Canadian Service Center at 416-206-4900. The price is $250 (Canadian) plus shipping and handling. There are a limited number of upgrade kits left and the offer is good while they last. As far as we know, there are only English language upgrade kits available -- Rich.]
