About the Author Frank Meissner, MD is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine-USUHS and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine -UTHSC at San Antonio. He is the primary forum administrator of the AMIA Medical Forum (Go MedSig). He has designed a number of cardiology decision support systems and is very interested in computer applications in medicine and cardiology.
