Detector for Radioisotopes 100/200LX

This Multi-Channel Analyzer in concert with the HP 100/ 200LX provides a portable nuclear spectroscopy system for on site characterization and identification of radioisotopes. The Scout by Quantrad, is designed for the environmental restoration and waste-management projects of the nuclear industry and can be used for emergency response plume monitoring of nuclear accidents. Designed for gamma, alpha and x-ray spectroscopy, the Scout stores up to 244 individual spectra, each with date and time stamp. An optional bar code reader is also available. The system including the HP Palmtop measures 4.5" x 2" x 7.5" and weights 1.8 lbs. Includes a rechargeable battery (8- 10 hour charge life) and charger.
