Using the Clipboard to Copy, Cut, and Paste 95LX 100/200LX
The built-in Clipboard remembers the last item you Cut or Copied and lets you Paste it into another location or built-in application. Lets say you're in MEMO with a document open.
On the 95LX
- 1. Move the cursor to the beginning of the text you want copied.
- 2. Press (F9) (Mark) and move the cursor to the end of the text.
- 3. Press (F2) to Copy the sentence to the clipboard or (F3) to Cut the sentence out of the existing document and copy it to the clipboard.
- 4. Move the cursor to the place you want to paste the text.
- 5. Press (F4) to Paste the text back into the document.
On the 100/200LX
- 1. Move the cursor to the beginning of the text you want to copy..
- 2. Press and hold down (Shift) and move the cursor to the end of the text you want copied.
- 3. Press (Fn) (=) to copy the text to the clipboard or (Fn) (.) to Cut the text out of the existing document and copy it to the clipboard.
- 4. Move the cursor to the place to which you want to copy the text.
- 5. Press (Fn) (+) to Paste the text back into the document.
Alternate Cut, Copy, and Paste key combinations familiar to Windows users are available. Highlight the desired text as described above and press (CTRL)-(X) to Cut, (CTRL)-(C) to Copy. When you're ready to Paste, press (CTRL)-(V).
