Q: PC Card modems leave no room for a Flash memory card. Is there a way around this?
A: There are two companies which make combination modem/Flash cards, which combine a modem and a Flash memory into a single PC Card. The vendors are Apex Data (formerly Smart Modular Technologies, phone: 800-841-2729 or 510 416-0909), and EXP Computers (800 EXP-6922). The cards are specifically designed for the HP Palmtop computers. Both cards are reviewed in the Jan/Feb 1995 and PC Card Review 1995 issues of The HP Palmtop Paper.
