Use (F3) to repeat DOS commands without re-typing them

When you are at the DOS prompt on the HP Palmtop you can access a number of DOS commands. For example, you can type cls at a DOS prompt to clear the screen.

If you want to use that command again, you can re-enter it at the DOS prompt. However, DOS stores the last command entered in memory. Press (F3) and the command is automatically re- enter at the DOS prompt.

You can also use the F1 and F2 keys to enter a part of the previous DOS command. For more on the F1, F2, and F3 keys, look up "Editing Keys" in an MS-DOS reference.
