Copy irregular repeating appointments to month view

Copy irregular repeating appointments to month view

Most repeating appointment situations are covered by the options available in the Repeat Options screen: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly and Custom. But what do you do if you have appointments that repeat at non-regular intervals (i.e., next Friday, a week from next Tuesday, and three weeks from Saturday)? The best solution is to create the appointment once and copy it to the other dates.

  1. 1. Create the Appointment -- At the Appointments screen, start typing the description of your appointment. It is automatically entered in the Description field of the Appointment/Event screen. Enter the Start Time and the Leadtime you want. Enable the alarm by pressing (ALT) B and select Weekly and Monthly views if you want by pressing (ALT) W and (ALT) M respectfully. When you are done, press (F10) (Done).
  2. 2. Copy the Appointment -- At the All Appointments screen, highlight the appointment you want to copy and press (Fn)-(=) (Copy).
  3. 3. Go to the Month View -- Press (F7) to go to the Month view. Use the Arrow-Keys to highlight the day you want the appointment to occur, then press (Fn)-(+) (Paste). The appointment is entered for that day.
Do this for all the days you want the appointment to occur -- highlight the day for the appointment and press (Fn) (+) (Paste).
