CHANGE 1-2-3 DEFAULT DIRECTORY
To stop those built-in Lotus spreadsheets from showing up every time you are in Lotus 1-2-3, move your spreadsheets to the C:\_DAT subdirectory. Then go into Lotus and issue the following keystrokes to change the default directory for Lotus files: Press (MENU) Worksheet Global Default Directory. Type in _dat and press (ENTER) Quit. From then on, Lotus will only "see" the files in the C:\_DAT subdirectory that have .WK1 extensions.
