Running Connectivity Pack on 1000CX

If you run Cpack on HP 1000CX, you can connect this Palmtop to a PC that is running Cpack or Transfile. Here is the procedure:

1. Install Cpack on the 1000CX. Load the APP200.BAT file in an editor and put "REM" (without quotes) at the start of the line that contains CG.exe. This will prevent the CG.EXE TSR from being loaded.

2. Run APP200.BAT on the 1000CX.

3. Start Filer in Cpack on the 1000CX.

4. Run Cpack or Transfile on PC.

After you've done all this, you can operate the 1000CX almost the same as the 200LX. Note that the baud rates must be the same on both the 1000CX and the PC. To set the baud rate on the 1000CX, open the Cpack version of Filer and press ALT+C and select remote settings.
