DATA TRANSFER WHEN THE 95LX IS OPERATING ON BATTERIES ONLY

I have limited access to an additional AC outlet in the room where I keep my desktop computers, and tend to do file transfers without connecting the 95LX to an AC adapter. The only thing you need to watch out for is "dead time" between file transfers. If the 95LX does not see any activity in 3 minutes, it will "shutdown" and you will lose connection between the 95LX and the desktop. Some people mistakenly believe that it is a problem with the batteries they are using, but I have seen this happen with the 95LX no matter what battery is in use.

You can use TimeOut<ON DISK ICON> or 95Buddy<ON DISK ICON> to reset the timeout period for more than 3 minutes, and this should eliminate the problem.
