USING COMPUSERVE AND OTHER SERVICES ON THE ROAD
To do this, you'll need a few more items in your road warrior kit:
- 1. A list of European access nodes for CompuServe. Type GO PHONES look for the local CIS phone numbers for the countries you will visit.
- 2. Phone system adapters. At the very least, take along some alligator clips and short lengths of wire.
- 3. Take an MNP modem; line noise can be a major problem.
- 4. Get power supplies for the 95LX and the modem suitable for the countries you will visit.
- 5. Develop a way to get data off the 95LX and onto diskettes.
