Making the 95LX Work Faster with Drive95

You mentioned on page 13 of the Sep/Oct 92 issue that the 95LX seems to work slowly when Drive95 from Sparcom is connected. I have also noticed this phenomena, and discovered the following solution.

Before leaving either DOS or FILER, make sure that drive G does not remain the current DOS drive! Reset the current drive to C before exiting DOS or FILER. Under DOS, type C: at the DOS prompt. In FILER, press (F5) (Goto) and switch back to drive C.

When you reset the current drive to C, DOS will not try to go to drive G all the time, which causes the delay.
